Cafe cook 

We are seeking an experienced cook/chef to join our team on a casual basis. The successful candidate would be responsible for baking as well as preparing meals from our menu.  

 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a diverse range of high-quality dishes in line with our menu.

• Ensure food presentation and taste meet our cafe's standards of excellence.

• Collaborate with fellow team members to maintain a smooth kitchen operation.

• Uphold food safety and hygiene regulations while working in a fast-paced environment.

• Contribute to menu planning, suggesting new dishes and innovations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role, showcasing cooking skills and creativity.

• Availability for early morning shifts and weekend rotations.

• Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills within a dynamic setting.

• Knowledge of food safety guidelines and kitchen protocols.

• Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing demands.
